In 2010 whilst on holiday in Mexico, we were first introduced to the Cenotes. The Mayans believed these to be portals to the Maya Underworld.  The experience of diving in these sinkholes was life-changing and started our journey into freediving. Since then, we have been mastering the art and growing a local community of freedivers here on the south coast of England. through our freediving club located in Poole www.bluesolefreediving.co.uk

Demand for freediving courses has been growing and existing freedivers have been reaching out to us who were having issues with equalising or wanted to learn more or simply were looking for a group of like minded individuals to train with. Such has been the demand that we took the decision to setup Freedive Life to offer freediving courses and equalisation coaching.

However, we wanted to be a little different. Rather than simply provide a 2-3 day course and send you on your way, we want to be part of your journey to ensure that you receive the very best training and personal development in the sport. Both before you attend through our online training and after the course.   

We have seen how freediving changes people’s lives by reducing stress, improving fitness, and fostering an inclusive community. Freediving has a low impact on joints and can help enhance mobility making it suitable for almost anyone of any age.

Our focus therefore is to support your journey into freediving and help you to develop. Before your course, we will discuss what you are looking to take from the course and any concerns or difficulties. We will also work with you to ensure you can equalise correctly  and if not offer you options such as 121 coaching to resolve your equalisation issues. Surprisingly many course providers don’t check students ability to equalise before depth courses leading to disappointment for students when they struggle on their course.
